Investigators from the University of Health Science, Istanbul, Turkey, conducted a prospective study to describe the presence of arthritis, gastrointestinal (GI) system involvement, and renal involvement in pediatric patients with Henoch-Schönlein purpura (HSP), and to identify risk factors for the development of GI involvement. Study participants were children <18 years old with HSP referred to the pediatric rheumatology unit at the authors’ institution between January 2016 and January 2018.
