AAP Grand Rounds is an official publication of the American Academy of Pediatrics that publishes evidence-based summaries of the most recent advances in pediatrics from nearly 100 general pediatrics and subspecialty journals. Criteria for article selection include methodological soundness as well as relevance to practicing pediatricians. This process ensure that AAP Grand Rounds is as complete and comprehensive as possible.
AAP Grand Rounds offers 12 CME quizzes per year. A maximum of 18.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ are earned after achieving a 60% score on each designated quiz (1.5 credits per quiz).
This activity is approved for 18.00 points of MOC Part 2 credit by the American Board of Pediatrics. All approved activities must be completed by the MOC Credit Approval End Date. All deadlines and MOC point values should be confirmed by checking the ABP Activity Catalog within each physician’s ABP Portfolio.
The co-editors of AAP Grand Rounds are Leslie Barton, MD, Professor of Pediatrics Emerita, University of Arizona School of Medicine, and James Taylor, MD, Medical Director, University of Washington Medical Center Newborn Nursery and Director, Pediatric Continuity Clinic Program.
