Dayna Lucas, M.D., FAAP, recently received $10,000 in Community Access to Child Health (CATCH) planning funds to improve family access to health care in Charlotte, N.C.

Dr. Lucas said she plans to use the funds to hire a planner to continue work on the "Healthy People, Healthy Neighborhoods" program. The planner will conduct focus groups to identify community health care needs — coordinating them with available resources — and develop methods to fund the program.
