The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is releasing $289 million in grant funds to 63 immunization program areas in the United States and U.S. territories to expand the vaccine delivery infrastructure.

The funds, which are part of a $528 million immunization budget approved by Congress last October, include support for basic immunization program activities performed by state and local health departments.
