John Bartram, M.D., FAAP, of Pottsville, Pa., died Feb. 19. He was 84. Dr. Bartram founded the handicapped services unit at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, which he directed from 1954 until his retirement in 1977. He was a professor of pediatrics at Temple University School of Medicine from 1941 to 1977. He published many articles on cerebral palsy prevention and treatment, working to establish state medical standards for cerebral palsy services.
