Menstrual symptoms are among the most common concerns of adolescent females, but factual information often is not available to them, according to a Canadian physician.
Physicians can dispel myths by addressing concerns about what's normal, painful menses, lack of period and dysfunctional bleeding. In addition, most problems can be diagnosed and treated without invasive or extensive testing.
