The Academy is collaborating with the American Dental Association (ADA) on a back-to-school healthy eating campaign. Television and radio stations will air interviews with AAP President Carden Johnston, M.D., FAAP, and ADA spokesperson Kim Harms, D.D.S. Now that schools are back in session, it's a great time to share school tips with your local media. A collection of tips can be found at www.aap.org/advocacy/releases/augschool.htm.

It's not too late to register for the free Hometown Radio service at the AAP National Conference & Exhibition Oct. 10and 11 at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco. You can tape an interview on any one of a variety of pediatric topics. The interview then will be aired in your hometown. Last year, interviews reached more than 78 million listeners.
