The Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics EMR Workgroup needs your help to design the next generation of electronic health record systems.
The workgroup is a coalition of experts in developmental and behavioral pediatrics, medical informatics, research and child health outcomes. It is dedicated to making sure electronic medical records (EMRs) work for the developmental and behavioral needs of children.
The promise of the EMR is that tools to manage developmental and behavioral problems would be available at the point of care. Communication with parents,colleagues and community agencies would be much easier. Errors would be reduced, leading not only to better care and more satisfied patients but also to fewer calls and lower costs.
