Surrogate mothering, fetal abuse and mothers who refuse to consent to Caesarean sections are among the new ethical dilemmas pediatricians will soon face, said Alan R. Fleischman, M.D., FAAP.

Speaking in September at the AAP Annual Chapter Forum, Dr. Fleischman outlined the interests and ethical principles that should be considered in several different medical situations that present ethical dilemmas for the pediatrician.
