Daniel J. Dire, M.D., FAAP, of San Antonio, Texas, was promoted to Brigadier General in the U.S. Army Reserve and assigned as Deputy Commanding General, 807th Medical Command (Deployment Support), Fort Douglas, Utah.
He is clinical professor and chief of the Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine in the University of Texas Health Sciences Center’s Department of Pediatrics. Dr. Dire is a member of the AAP Section on Emergency Medicine.
Sherin U.
