While Chicago was experiencing record-breaking warmth in March, I attended the Academy’s Annual Leadership Forum (ALF) along with several hundred AAP members, chapter executive directors, students, residents, Fellows and staff. Preceding the ALF were two other important events: the inaugural meeting of AAP section chairs and the Chapter Advocacy Summit, which provided opportunities for learning about state and local government advocacy and other critical issues. I thought I’d share a few of my experiences attending these exciting events.
