These slogans are part of the Academy’s efforts to get out the vote (or GOTV) in advance of the Nov. 6 national elections. The slogans adorn T-shirts, bumper stickers, posters, lapel stickers and pins, which are available at www.aapGOTV.org.

“Children can’t vote, but those of us who care for children can,” said AAP President Robert W. Block, M.D., FAAP. “By encouraging all 60,000 AAP members to register to vote on Election Day, we represent not just the profession but the millions of children we collectively care for across the country, and that is a powerful thing.”
