“I care for kids and I vote!” “Speak up for kids at the ballot box: Cast your vote 11.6.12!”

These slogans are part of the Academy’s efforts to get out the vote (or GOTV) in advance of the Nov. 6 national elections. The slogans adorn T-shirts, bumper stickers, posters, lapel stickers and pins, which are available at www.aapGOTV.org.

“Children can’t vote, but those of us who care for children can,” said AAP President Robert W.
