Denice Cora-Bramble, M.D., M.B.A., FAAP, and David Wessel, M.D., FAAP, both of Washington, D.C., were named joint chief medical officers of Children’s National Medical Center, to address the complexities of evolving health care landscape and to lead in population health management.
Dr. Cora-Bramble is executive vice president and chief medical officer for ambulatory and community health services. She will oversee efforts focused on clinical integration across the care continuum and population strategies that strengthen the health care delivered to children outside the hospital setting.
Dr. Wessel is executive vice president, chief medical officer for hospital and specialty services. He will lead inpatient and subspecialty care delivery. He is board certified in pediatrics, anesthesia, pediatric critical care and pediatric cardiology.
