As autumn fades in northern climes, sunny Scottsdale, Ariz., is the perfect venue for a Practical Pediatrics conference, Nov. 8-10.
Javelinas, coyotes and snakes — this destination has it all. Other than the multitude of animals (don’t forget the nearby Phoenix Zoo), Scottsdale boasts more than 500 specialty boutiques, art galleries, museums, restaurants and night clubs.
Practical Pediatrics focuses on adolescent health, dermatology, developmental/behavioral pediatrics, infectious diseases, nephrology and orthopedics. Participants engage with expert faculty, attend exhibits with the latest technology and sit in on interactive, hot-topic discussions. All of the information is meant to be taken directly from the conference and used in the office. Concurrent seminars on related topics also are offered throughout the weekend.
