Omar S. Al-Ibrahim, M.D., FAAP, of Buffalo, N.Y., was appointed chief of the Division of Pediatric Critical Care and medical director of the pediatric intensive care unit at Women & Children’s Hospital of Buffalo and the UB/MD Pediatrics group.
Medical director of the extracorporeal membrane oxygenation and apheresis programs and fellowship program director for the Division of Pediatric Critical Care, Dr. Al-Ibrahim is board-certified in pediatric critical care. He is a member of the AAP Section on Critical Care.
