Perry S. Brown Jr., M.D., FAAP, of Boise, Idaho, was named Physician of the Year by the Ada County Medical Society for commitment to medical education, research, service and improving child health.
Dr. Brown is director of the Family Medical Health Center Fort Street Clinic and director of pediatric education at the Family Medicine Residency of Idaho. He is a member of the Idaho Kids Count board and chair of the ID Child Immunization Policy Commission.
Wendy S. Davis, M.D., FAAP, of Burlington, Vt., was named vice president of the Vermont Medical Society.
Dr. Davis is clinical professor of pediatrics at the Vermont Child Health Improvement Program and associate director of the National Improvement Partnership Network. Professor of pediatrics at University of Vermont, she is on faculty at the Fletcher Allen Health Center. Dr. Davis is vice chair of AAP District I.
