The 1989 AAP Spring Session program will include plenary sessions on immunization and AIDS, seminars on identifying children with neurological problems and treating adolescents, and workshops on neonatal resuscitation.

Some highlights are:

• "Current Status of Haemophilus Vaccines." Georges Peter, M.D., FAAP, will discuss the development of conjugate vaccines and their effectiveness in children younger than 18 months. Dr. Peter is editor of the AAP Red Book, director of the Division of Infectious Diseases at Rhode Island Hospital and professor of pediatrics at Brown University.
