• A photo caption featured in the "Fellows in the news" column of the October 1988 AAP News stated that former AAP President Richard Narkewicz, M.D., was the first president to sign an AAP membership certficiate for his son. In fact, the membership certificate for J. Kirk Douglass, M.D., was signed by his father, 1964 AAP President Frank Douglass, M.D.
