Low reimbursement and increasing administrative burdens appear to be causing a decline of pediatrician participation in Medicaid, according to a new study.

Pediatricians are less likely to participate in Medicaid today than they were 11 years ago and a greater proportion of those involved limit their participation, according to the study, published in April 1990 Pediatrics.
