Pediatricians in Philadelphia and Bedford, Vt., received Community Access to Child Health (CATCH) planning funds to help them evaluate local health care needs.

Mark Harris, M.D., FAAP, in private practice in Bedford, Vt., and an adjunct associate professor at Dartmouth Medical School, plans to use his $9,950 grant to establish a Central Office of Needs Assessment in five New Hampshire towns including: Haverhill, Bath, Monroe, Piermont and Lisbon. The office will track all children born in the communities from birth to age three years, noting their medical, educational, developmental, mental, day care and financial needs.
