President Clinton again has delayed the release of his health care reform plan and a new target date has yet to be announced.

White House officials cited a desire to concentrate on passing the president's deficit reduction bill through Congress before attempting to overhaul the nation's health care system.

Since the president's budget package narrowly passed the House and Senate after several compromises, administration officials expect a tough fight during the conference session, scheduled for July.
