The following products are being recalled because they may contain high levels of lead, which is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects.

Product: “Ugly Teeth” party favors

Units: About 43,000

Importer: Amscan Inc., of Elmsford, N.Y.

Description: The fake teeth are painted white, black and orange with brown gums. They were sold in packages of 8.

Sold at: Various retailers nationwide from January 2006 through October 2007 for about $2.

Remedy: Return the teeth to the place where purchased for a refund.
