The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced the recall of the following products. Consumers should stop using recalled products unless otherwise instructed. Consumers can submit reports of harm to CPSC’s new searchable online product safety database at www.SaferProducts.gov. A searchable food and medical product recall database is available at http://www.fda.gov/Safety/Recalls/default.htm.
Units: About 34,000 in the United States and 3,800 in Canada

Hazard: The water shoes have less traction when worn on wet or smooth surfaces, such as hardwood or tile, creating a slip and fall hazard.
Description: The slip-on shoes have pull-on tabs on both the front and back of the foot opening of the shoe. These Aqua Socks were sold in pink and purple in toddler sizes 5-11 with style number 896452.
Sold at: Old Navy stores, at oldnavy.com and at oldnavy.ca from February through June 2012 for $12 to $15.
Remedy: Return shoes to any Old Navy store for a refund. Consumers who return the shoes before Nov. 9 will receive a coupon for $10 off their next purchase at Old Navy.
