• TRW Automotive Products Inc. is recalling 2,150 child restraint seats designed for children weighing more than 20 pounds. The backs of the seats, stamped with lot number 4477C4, can crack or shear during a severe collision. The seats were manufactured last year and sold under numerous brand names, including: Century Child Love Seat, AMC Child Love Seat, Chrysler Child Love Seat and Alkot Child Love Seat (Childcare). TRW notes that the problem does not involve the Love Seat brand designed for infants from birth to 20 pounds.
