`Kaleidoscope Art' sets
Shure Products, Inc., Chicago, and product retailer Toys R Us, are recalling approximately 14,000 "Kaleidoscope Art" sets, item number 820, because crayons in the set contain high levels of lead, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).
The sets were sold nationwide from January to August 1994. Sets contain eight crayons, six sheets of geometric shapes to color ("line art"), and a 6-inch kaleidoscope. Sets should be taken away from children and returned to Toys R Us for a refund. For information, call Shure Products at (312) 633-9002.
