Air bag/child seat warning label
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has issued a requirement that rear-facing child safety seats must carry visible warning labels about their use in front seats of cars equipped with passengerside air bags.
The fast, forceful deployment of air bags can cause serious head and chest injuries to children in rear-facing safety seats, NHTSA officials said.
