Cosco cribs
Cosco Inc. of Columbus, Ind., is recalling 190,000 full-size cribs for repair.
Spindles can loosen and separate from the side rail, allowing a child to fall from the crib or creating a gap that could trap an infant.
The cribs, packaged in a box labeled in part "Cosco," are made of welded red, white, blue or multi-colored tubular metal. Most were sold nationwide for $95 to $150 from January 1991 to April 1994 at leading retail and juvenile furniture stores, including Sears, J.C. Penney and Toys `R' Us.
Models recalled are 10T01, 10T04, 10T05, 10T06, 10T09, 10T11 and 10T14.
The manufacturer's identification number, including the model number, are on the bottom of the horizontal rail of either the drop side or fixed side. Cribs with a manufacture date code between 4490 (44th week of 1990) and 4093 (40th week of 1993) are included.
