Mountain bike suspension fork
Answer Products of Valencia, Calif., is recalling 69,000 Manitou Mach 5 mountain bike suspension forks that could crack and break, causing riders to lose control and fall.
Answer Products has received 49 reports of forks cracking, five involving minor injuries to riders.
Bicycle dealers have sold the forks as original equipment on more than 27,000 Trek, Fisher, Diamondback, Marin, Mongoose and other bicycles. More than 41,000 forks were sold for $270 to $380 as after-market equipment.
