Star Wonders flying dolls
Placo Products Co., of Commerce, Calif., is recalling 140,000 Star Wonders dolls because the flying dolls' wings can break off, causing serious eye injuries to children.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Placo have received seven reports of the dolls' wings breaking off during use, resulting in corneal abrasions, torn retinas and blindness.
The plastic dolls measure six inches tall, have blonde and purple hair, and colorful wings attached to their arms. The dolls are attached by their feet to a seven-inch magical wand launcher decorated with a moon or a heart.
