High chairs
Playskool of Pawtucket, R.I., is offering free replacement restraint bars for approximately 287,000 of its 1-2-3 High Chairs, because children may fall if the restraint bar breaks, reports the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.
At least 40 injuries and hundreds of complaints about cracking or breaking restraint bars have been reported. The restraint bar is located on the front of the chair and the tray attaches to it. The chairs, with serial numbers TX51321 and TX61442, sold for approximately $65 and were made between May 1995 and May 1996.
