Activity blocks

T.S. Toys of Hong Kong is recalling 4,000 Activity Block Sets because rods on one of the blocks could break, releasing small, hollow cylinders that pose a choking hazard to children.

No injuries have been reported.

Each set has four colored plastic blocks — each with a beeper, clicker dial, mirror or rollers — and plastic shape sorters. The block with the rollers, which are hollow cylinders on plastic rods, can break.

The $7 to $8 blocks were sold from May 1997 to June 1998 at Meijer, Ocean State Job Lot, Johnny's Toys and Cook Brothers stores in the East and Midwest. They were made in China and have "Quality FunKids Toys ... Item No. 38329" on the label.
