Play yards
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is recalling more than 9.6 million play yards and playpens with protruding rivets that pose a strangulation risk if pacifier strings or clothing catches on them. Since 1983, the CPSC has received eight reports of toddlers who died in this manner, and already has warned parents that a pacifier never should be hung from a string around a child's neck.
