Infant and toddler hats
Elegant Headwear Co. of Elizabeth, N.J., in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), is notifying consumers that 150,000 infant and toddler hats need to be repaired because the attached one-piece chin straps can strangle children if they catch on objects.
No injuries have been reported. Elegant Headwear Co. has since eliminated the one-piece chin straps from its infant and toddler hats.
