The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced recalls of the following products. Consumers should stop using recalled products unless otherwise instructed.
Product: Children's mood and diva necklaces
Units: 51,600
Importer: Really Useful Products Inc., of Darien, Ill.
Hazard: The recalled jewelry contains high levels of lead. Lead is toxic if ingested by young children.
Description: The recalled necklaces are multicolored heart-, moon-,shamrock-, spider-, butterfly- and lizard-shaped pendants that hang from a black cord. The recalled diva necklaces have an angel or diva pendant that hangs from a black cord.
Sold at: Children's, dollar and discount stores nationwide from September 2004 to November 2006 for $1.
Remedy: Take this jewelry away from children and return it to the store where purchased for a refund.
