The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced recalls of the following products. Consumers should stop using recalled products unless otherwise instructed.
Product: “Cars” toy storage benches
Units: 3,000
Manufacturer: Delta Enterprise Corp., New York
Hazard: The red paint on the partition panels of the toy box contains high levels of lead. Lead is toxic if ingested by young children.
Description: The wooden toy storage box with three removable cloth bins is decorated with graphics from the animated movie “Cars.”PO# FJ505192 and PO# FJ605042 are included in this recall. The PO# is printed on the side panel.
Sold at: Toys “R” Us stores from March through August 2006 for $50.
Remedy: Take the recalled toy chests away from children and return to any Toys “R” Us for a credit or refund.
