The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced recalls of the following products. Consumers should stop using recalled products unless otherwise instructed.
Product: Heartwood Creek turtle sprinklers
Units: 2,600
Importer: Enesco Group Inc., of Itasca, Ill.
Hazard: When connected to a garden hose, the sprinkler can break or shatter, presenting a laceration hazard.
Description: The lawn sprinkler is made of resin with a decorative turtle shell.
Sold at: Specialty gift stores nationwide from January through June 2006 and through QVC from April through June 2006 for $30.
Remedy: Stop using the sprinkler and contact Enesco for a product exchange, or return it to the place of purchase for a refund.
