The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced recalls of the following product. Consumers should stop using recalled product unless otherwise instructed.
Product: Easy-Bake Ovens
Units: 985,000
Manufacturer: Easy-Bake Division of Hasbro Inc., of Pawtucket,R.I.
Hazard: Young children's hands can get caught in the oven, which poses entrapment and burn hazards.
Incidents/injuries: Easy-Bake has received 29 reports of children's hands or fingers caught in the opening, including five reports of burns.
Description: This purple and pink plastic oven lists model number 65805 and Hasbro on the back of the unit. Ovens sold before May 2006 are not recalled.
Sold at: Toys “R” Us, Wal-Mart, Target, KB Toys and other retailers nationwide from May 2006 through February 2007 for $25.
