The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced recalls of the following products. Consumers should stop using recalled products unless otherwise instructed.
Product: Hanna Andersson children's crossover tee and lounge pant sets and cropped johns
Units: 12,300
Distributor: Hanna Andersson of Portland, Ore.
Hazard: The recalled garments fail to meet the children's sleep wear flammability standards that require sleep wear, including lounge wear, to be either snug-fitting or flame resistant.
Description: The garments have “Hanna Andersson” on the sewn-in label and were sold in girls' sizes 80 cm through 160 cm.
Sold in: Hanna Andersson stores nationwide and through the Hanna Andersson catalog and Web site from summer 2004 through November 2006 for about $35.
Remedy: Stop using the recalled garments and return them to Hanna Andersson for a refund.
