The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced recalls of the following product. Consumers should stop using recalled products unless otherwise instructed.
Product: Disney Princesses Easter baskets
Units: About 8,500
Manufacturer: Gemmy Industries Corp., of Coppell, Texas
Hazard: Silver beads and ribbons attached to the basket can detach,posing a choking hazard to young children.
Description: The product is a pink and purple plush Easter basket.
Sold by: Wal-Mart stores nationwide from February through March 2007 for about $10.
Remedy: Take the basket away from young children and remove the beads and ribbons to prevent choking. Consumers can return the item to a Wal-Mart store for a refund.
