Hazard: The multipurpose lighters may not contain a child-resistant mechanism, posing a fire and burn hazard to young children.
Description: The “Gas Match” lighters have a red/white, blue/white or green/white plastic body and a silver-colored metal nozzle. The “Ready, Aim…Fire” lighters have a black, blue, red or green plastic body and a silver-colored metal nozzle.
Sold at: Retail stores in New York from August through October 2008 for about $1.
Remedy: Contact YMCA Trading to return the lighter for a refund.
