Hazard: The surface coating on the kits’ wires may contain excessive levels of lead, which is toxic if ingested by children.
Description: Recalled are the “Solar System” (model numbers SS2003, SS101, 59901 and SS2003P) and “DNA” (model numbers DNA2003, 59903 and DNA2003P) children’s educational craft kits sold under the FloraCraft and HYGLOSS brand names. The kits contain foam shapes and green, coated wires.
Sold at: Wal-Mart, Jo-Ann stores, Hobby Lobby and other retailers nationwide from January 2003 through February 2009 for $10 to $30.
