Distributors: Caramia Furniture and Mother Hubbard Cupboards, of Ontario, Canada

Hazard: Slats on the drop-side of the crib can detach from the top and bottom rails, possibly causing the child to fall or become trapped.

Description: The Caramia “Diane” drop-side crib was manufactured between September 2002 and June 2004. To check the manufacturing date, look at the label on the inside of the headboard or footboard.

Sold at: Buy Buy Baby and other juvenile product and mass merchandise stores nationwide from September 2002 through December 2005 for between $240 and $370.

Remedy: Immediately stop using the recalled crib, and contact Caramia Furniture to receive a free replacement drop side. Replacements will become available in March 2010.
