Hazard: The surface coating on the bracelets contains high levels of lead, which is toxic if ingested by young children.
Description: This recall involves children’s bangle bracelets sold in packets of 24. They are gold with stripes of either red, maroon, black, orange or green.
Sold at: Chandigarh Fashion stores in Flushing, N.Y. and Sonia Selections stores in Chicago from May 2007 through August 2008 for about $2.
Remedy: Return recalled bracelets to the store of purchase for a refund.
