Hazard: The drawstring through the hood of the sweatshirt poses a strangulation hazard.
Description: The three recalled styles of zippered sweatshirts were sold in sizes XS through 3XL: HAY style (sold in black, navy, light gray, charcoal gray and pink), HKK style (sold in black, navy, light blue, light gray, pink and red) and JMK reversible microfiber sweatshirts with polar fleece lining and a removable hood with elastic or retractable drawstrings (sold in black). City names are printed across the front of the garment.
Sold at: Clothing retail stores in California, Colorado, Hawaii and New Mexico from January 2008 through December 2009 for $14 to $27.
Remedy: Remove the drawstring.
