Hazard: The yellow paint on the banks contains lead, which is toxic if ingested by children.
Description: The bank is shaped like a pig and the body is painted yellow with floral designs or shaped like a lion and painted yellow with a brown mane. Only banks with black plastic stoppers are recalled.
Sold: Online at www.orientaltrading.com and www.funexpress.com and through Oriental Trading Company and Fun Express catalogs from February 2003 through September 2010 for about $7 to $20 per dozen.
Remedy: Discard banks and contact Oriental Trading Company for a refund or credit.
