Hazard: The leg warmers and socks have a heart appliqué that can detach, posing a choking hazard to small children.
Description: BabyLegs brand leg warmers, ankle-high socks and knee-high socks adorned with a heart-shape appliqué are recalled. Socks and leg warmers are pink, white or purple cable knit.
Sold at: Independent retailers and www.babylegs.com from August to November 2010 for $11 per pair.
Remedy: Remove and discard the heart appliqué to eliminate the hazard or contact BabyLegs for a refund or coupon to be redeemed on the BabyLegs Web site.
