Consumers can submit reports of harm to CPSC’s new searchable online product safety database at www.SaferProducts.gov. Hazard: The coating on some of the beads contains excessive levels of lead, which is toxic if ingested by children.
Description: The 56-piece Pearly Beads & Ribbon Bracelets kit is sold under the American Girl Crafts name (SKU 30-585331). Beads are pink, blue, orange and white.
Sold at: Michael’s Stores and other retailers nationwide from September 2009 to June 2011 for about $8.
