The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced the recall of the following products. Consumers should stop using recalled products unless otherwise instructed. Consumers can submit reports of harm to CPSC’s new searchable online product safety database at www.SaferProducts.gov. A searchable food and medical product recall database is available at http://www.fda.gov/Safety/Recalls/default.htm.
Units: About 21,000 in the United States and 2,600 in Canada
Hazard: The buttons on the front of the dress can detach, posing a choking hazard.
Description: Emma’s Garden polka-dot girls’ dresses were sold in sizes 12 months to 5T in black/white and pink/white with three decorative buttons.
Sold at: T.J. Maxx from February through May 2011 for about $13 and Winners stores in Canada from March through April 2011 for about $17.
Remedy: Return for refund.
