The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced the recall of the following products. Consumers should stop using recalled products unless otherwise instructed. Consumers can submit reports of harm to CPSC’s new searchable online product safety database at www.SaferProducts.gov. Hazards: The bottom rubber tip attached to the pogo stick frame can wear out prematurely, posing a fall hazard. The end caps on the handlebars can come off; the sharp edges can cause cuts.
Description: The models recalled are Disney Hannah Montana, Disney/Pixar Toy Story, Disney/Pixar Cars, Disney Princess and Disney Fairies. Manufacturing date codes between 01/01/2009-022CO and 11/30/2010-022CO are on a label on the stem of the pogo stick.
Sold at: Burlington Coat Factory, Kmart, Kohls.com, Target and Toys ‘R’ Us from February 2009 through June 2011 for about $20.
