The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced the recall of the following products. Consumers should stop using recalled products unless otherwise instructed. Consumers can submit reports of harm to CPSC’s new searchable online product safety database at www.SaferProducts.gov. Hazard: Some pads do not stick to the bathtub surface, posing a fall hazard.
Description: Recalled are whale-shaped white, vinyl, non-slip bathtub pads with textured surfaces and adhesive backings (model S-4630; SKU 049793846303). Pads come in sets of 12 and 15.
Sold at: Ace Hardware and Menards from May 2010 through June 2011 for about $6.
